Visiting Copperhaven School

Our office is open to the public from 8am-4pm, Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays and PD days/breaks. See our Calendar & Events page for details.

Parking & Transportation

Visitor parking is located in the drop-off area in front of the west side of the school. To ensure student safety, no vehicles besides buses should enter the bus transfer site to the west of the school.

Bikes ridden to school should be locked and stored in the designated area. Students are required by law to wear helmets, and may only ride their bikes/scooters/skateboards in designated locations at specified times.

Checking In & Out of School

All visitors must sign in at the school office, which is located directly to the right of the main entrance. Volunteers will be given a lanyard to wear during their visit to the school.

Students arriving late to class are also asked to check in at the office before proceeding to their classrooms. Students leaving the school during school hours are required to check out at the office.

Parents picking up their children during school hours are asked to provide a written note or indicate this intention in their child's planner. This note should include the pickup time so the child's teacher can prepare the student to leave and meet the parent at the office on time.
